Cliff Eberhardt in Concert! Louise Mosrie Opens
December 7, 2024
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
ACMA. at All Faiths Unitarian | 2756 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers, FL
“Eberhardt sings with passion and with wit…what makes his brand so rare is the self-assurance and poise he brings to his nearly flawless show.”
— The New York Post
Joining Cliff is the fabulous Louise Mosrie. Louise started writing songs about the South – what she knew and where she grew up. In 2008, she began working on a new album eventually to be called “Home” because she’d come full circle in her “voice” as a writer. The album was a mix of bluegrass, country and folk and as she weaved in lush stories and songs about southern life, she was even introduced once as “…William Faulkner with a guitar”. With those songs, she entered some song contests connected to festivals and ended up winning top awards at Kerrville Folk Festival, Wildflower! Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. “Home” debuted at #1 on the Folk DJ charts in January 2010 and went on to be one of the most played albums that year for that chart.

Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium | 3478 Ortiz Ave. Fort Myers, FL
Grace Morrison is a mother, musician, renaissance faire performer, cranberry farmer, songwriter, and storyteller. With humor and raw honesty, audiences leave Grace’s shows with her songs stuck in their heads and their toes tired from tapping.
Singer-songwriter, performer, and keen observer, Marc Douglas Berardo’s songs are sharply drawn and cast a net on unusual and beguiling characters and places that bring to mind James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Guy Clark, and Steely Dan with a touch of Mark Twain or Hunter S. Thompson. His songs have been recognized at prestigious national festivals and events such as The South Florida Folk Festival, The Wildflower Arts and Music Festival, and the Kerrville Folk Festival.
Opening the concert is Dhruva’ Stephenson. In her own words…”Singer-songwriter, jammer, traveler. Loves singing harmonies and flirting around with flute, mandolin, bass, percussion, piano and other lesser-known instruments”. She is an ACMA member from the Mid-Atlantic region. Her music reflects a variety of folksy and bluesy genres highlighted by her distinctive contralto voice. Dhruva’ has released several albums of original music.

ACMA presents Shanna In A Dress. The Lost Lakers open
January 18, 2025
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
ACMA at All Faiths Unitarian | 2756 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers, FL
Shanna in a Dress is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. She says what everyone is thinking but no one else will say and you’ll get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak with a hefty side of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for making audiences laugh and cry, sometimes in the same song. Think Jason Mraz mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele.
The fabulous Lost Lakers open this show. Tim Foote was raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and Karen Foote here in Fort Myers. When they met in Arkansas, there were two guitars being passed around. Everyone in the room, including Tim and Karen, were surprised by how easily their harmonies flowed together. They chose the less-traveled path to Alaska and spent the last 40 years raising their 3 children in Fairbanks, where Tim practiced medicine and Karen was a wood-fired ceramic artist. They have written songs about whatever was in front of them, whether it be the challenges of raising children, the loss of loved ones, the humorous or the awkward, hurricanes and (of course) lullabies for the grand babies. But most often, they sing about their love for each other.

ACMA presents House of Hamill @ The Alliance for the Arts. Bob Williams opens
January 26, 2025
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Alliance for the Arts | 10091 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers, FL
House of Hamill owes its existence – almost entirely – to a series of cancelled flights.
Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first found themselves onstage together at the 2014 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City.
Rose’s band Burning Bridget Cleary was scheduled to perform, but inclement weather prevented two of her bandmates from flying. Desperate to salvage the showcase, Rose approached Brian, who she knew fronted Canadian celtic rock band Enter the Haggis. She thrust a guitar into Brian’s hands, pulled him onstage, and the two just clicked.
Bob Williams opens the show. In the late sixties, Bob Williams, a young guitarist from Long Island, NY, began writing his own music as soon as he mastered three chords. Drawing inspiration from Folk-Rock and Country-Rock, Bob crafted a unique sound influenced by the folk singers of the 60s and the singer-songwriters of the 70s. His writing evolved into what is now known as Americana Music, a blend of Roots, Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, and everything in between.

As the poor get poorer and the rich get richer, who will stand for the vulnerable if not Robin? What is the cost of revealing your true self in a time of trouble?
Modern concerns and romantic entanglements clash on the battlefield and on the ramparts of Nottingham Castle in this play about selfishness, selflessness, love deferred and the fight. Always the fight. The fight must go on.
